We make hand crafted artisanal baked delights.

Butternut is an independent bake shop that creates tempting comfort baked goods from simple but the finest of ingredients. Our creations are made with loving care using artisanal techniques combined with an appreciation of nuanced flavors and textures. We love our products to look natural and we use spices and seasonal fruits to provide color and flavor to enhance our cakes and pastries. We never use artificial coloring. We also strive on freshness and bake everything from scratch.

Butternut will have a booth with a variety of pastries,cakes and cookies including morning buns, lovely chocolate chip cookies, almond rochers and chocolate bouchons.

Bowes Real Estate Real Living

"We are a local real estate company with the #1 market share in Arlington. We will have a booth at the corner of Mass Ave. and Water St. We have giveaways such as rules, pens, notepads, water bottles, etc. We are also the sponsor of the annual pony rides which are held behind the Robbins Library."


Capital Square

Capitol Square will run it's "Snap, Tag, Post, Win!" promotional contest and giveaway for TownDay. The booth is traditionally located directly in front of Not Your Average Joe's (645 Mass Ave).

Prizes include 2 all-access passes to the Arlington International Film Festival, which is showing at the Capitol Theatre Oct 27-30, an art date for 2 from Artbeat, gift certificates from several Capitol Square businesses, including Luv and Other Gifts, Something Sweet Without Wheat, Continentale Hair Salon, and more.

Dance Caliente

Together, as Dance Caliente, Eileen Herman Haase and Raul Nieves inspire others to celebrate Social Dancing.  Enjoy dancing to all kinds of music, including Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Argentine Tango, Swing, Foxtrot, Waltz and Cha Cha right by our booth. There will be discounts, off the regular price, for any of our upcoming courses during these events only. Checks or cash accepted.

Dance Caliente Courses begin Mondays in Arlington-October 17 and Wednesday in Medford - October 19.

We are a sewing school for ages 9-99. We teach people how to sew and create what they want. We will have a free make and take project at our booth on Town Day. We will have a display of a variety of the many things that you can learn to make in our classes.

Antelope Dance

Arlington children’s singer Liz Buchanan has just released her fourth album, titled Amazing, delivering fun songs about stories, science and nature, and celebrating creativity and imagination. Liz wrote many of the songs with children in pre-K through first grade, such as “No Fire, Dragon!” and a terrific rocker about T-Rex.

Liz is a children’s performer and music teacher who began her children’s music career leading the very first infant and toddler sing-alongs at Arlington’s Robbins and Fox Libraries. She still occasionally has a gig there, when she’s not teaching on Tuesday mornings.

Anastasia Semash is an artist and art instructor residing in Arlington.

"I offer art classes for local children and adults, that include various art activities such as:
- Children’s art classes, including morning classes for preschoolers as well as afterschool options
- Foundations of realistic drawing and painting
- Painting workshops
- Morning and evening classes for adults
- Fiber art (needle felting)

I teach some of the classes through Arlington Community Education and KidZone, but mostly in my home studio."

Really Fix It

Ray Charbonneau has more than 20 years of experience working with computers. He has supported and managed computer systems for small startup companies, non-profit groups, and for large organizations like the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and The MITRE Corporation. He also works regularly helping individuals with their home computers.

Ray has seen almost every kind of computer problem. He can keep your computers running and help you use them as efficiently as possible.

Ray lives in Arlington, MA with his wife Ruth. When he's not working with computers, he is a writer and an avid runner. Ray also enjoys skiing, kayaking, kittens, and sunsets.

M Broadbent Design

Michelle Broadbent teaches Zentangle® Art method to children and adults.  Zentangle® Art is an easy-to-learn, relaxing, and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns.

Michelle has lived in Arlington for 7 years and she adores raising her family in this community.
Michelle will not have a booth at Town Day but will have some upcoming classes at Arlington Artlounge.



Luv And Other Gifts

Luv and Other Gifts is located in the Capitol Square community of East Arlington, at 189 Mass Ave. Luv specializes in showcasing the work of local and national artists and features an eclectic mix of handmade and indie designs. Luv is also home to Puppy Luv — unique lines of treats, toys, leashes, beds, bowls and more, for your favorite furry friend.

Luv won't have a booth at Town Day but we will be represented as a member of Capitol Square Business Association at the Capitol Square booth.
