celebration is on our local main drag.
A celebration of
 vendors, businesses
and organizations serving up food,
arts and crafts,
information and freebies.

Arlington Town Day on 9/16/17.

Location: Town Day is located on Mass Ave between Jason Street and Pleasant Street.

What: Local businesses and organizations set up booths along Mass Ave to give out information and connect with you. A center stage is erected at the Town Hall. Food and refreshments are available from vendors and local businesses. Many vendors will only take cash.

Important Details: Vendor and Booth Set up starts at 7am, streets are closed by 8am and festivities run from 9am-3pm. Mass ave is not passable between Jason Street and Pleasant Street for the day.

Arlington Town Day Dog Show

The Arlington Town Day Dog Show "Best in Show" will be held on Friday September 15th on Spy Pond Field.

Registration begins at 5:30 pm with the Dog Show starting at 6:00 pm.

Master of Dog Ceremonies Glen Victor Doyle will be on hand to give out amazing trophies and outrageous prizes for Best Costume, Best Dog Trick, Best Mutt and Best Pure Bred plus smallest dog and largest dog in Arlington. The grand prize goes to Best in Show who takes home the coveted trophy as overall champion of he event. Celebrity judges will be on hand and the audience will decide the winners.

Mass Ave festivities. Town Day 9/16/17  9am- 3pm 

Mass Ave is lined with over 200 booths of vendors, local business and organizations including a foodie's line up from local favorites: Acitron, Punjab, La Victoria, Andrina’s, and Tango.

Town Day Run


The Town Day Road Race is being held on Saturday, September 17th at the Arlington High School. Enjoy this 2.7-mile course as it heads down Mass Ave and then returns on the Bike Path.

  • Registration starts at 7:30am – 8:00am with race time starting at 8:30am.
  • Register the day of the race or prior to the event at Arlington Recreation.
  • Pre-race Registration is $20 per person.
  • This event is sponsored by Arlington Recreation, Boys & Girls Club and Fidelity House.

Robbins Library Book Sale


Arlington Fire Department will host a smoke-house demonstration behind the Robbins Library to teach kids about smoke and safety.


Jason Russell House hosts Menotomy Minuteman traditional clothing to try on, and tours of the historic site.
